In Year 10 European Section, a trip to Germany is organized during 5 days to discover this European Capital City.
In Year 9 and 10, there is an exchange with Germany to perfect your German. But you can go to Osnabrük only if you learn German.
In Year 7, you can go to Paris, by train, to visit Le Louvres. It is a cultural trip where you stay 2 days in May in a youth hostel.
You can go to Russia in Year 8. You have got a penpal. During 2 weeks, you stay in your penpal’s family and you go by plane in February.
For the exchange in Spain, in Valencia, you can go in Year 9 and 10. The trip lasts 1 week and you travel by plane. This travel is to perfect your Spanish.
The football section goes to Poland in Myszkow during 1 week. It’s the European tournament. They go to Poland by plane.
There are other projects: an exchange with Poland (Torun), to Ireland, a trip to England (Manchester), to Caen, to Sallanches, to Brocéliande, to Portsmouth (England), to Mont Saint Michel and to Belgium (Brussels and Bruges).
All these trips are most of the time organized for a class. Doing these travels allows students to perfect their English, Spanish or German but also enrich their culture. When you go with your class, you often become closer to the people of your class. And if you’ve got a penpal, you can stay in touch with him/her and why not make another exchange. So all these trips are great but the price varies between 90 and 900€.
